I was there for a Christmas party. My colleagues have ordered a lump sum for food and drink. I am a vegetarian and also a breastfeeding mom so I phoned in advance and clarified that I then order a la carte. Then we were there. First, I have taken a menu and ordered before and main course. The food was very very scarce and the prices very high. (vegetarian rösti were only four small küchle rice and spinach, price 12,80 €) then I wanted to have the card for the dessert again and the service has assured me and insisted that everything is added together and that I just get dessert , I told her about the clarification, but she ignored it. Then suddenly all my colleagues got dessert except me. I have been waiting and the service is not over in 20 minutes because of any drinks order or to ask if everything fits. That was really embarrassing and badly coordinated. The food was okay but for the prices super close. I'll never go back. Kathastrophe.

We were a larger group, but the service worked smoothly, it was all tasted, high quality food, good beverage selection.

Unfortunately, I could not give 0 stars. We had to wait two hours for the food, even though the salad came after half an hour. After several questions the food was cold and the pork was not through. Absolutely not recommended.

Lukewarm food and that after scarce 2 hours wait. In addition, still pork that is not through. On days when there is more to be expected than with Easter, that should not be the case! Repetition rather unlikely.

If you like to wait two hours for a meal that is cold then you can go. We were a bigger group and probably just too much for the Ballei. The service has been a lot of effort was friendly and was quick to meet everything, she had to serve all alone and still make the drinks. The food was partly cold, partly not through, the asparagus was wooden. Sorry but that was nothing. Can not recommend this restaurant. For the long wait there was nothing, for the complaint also not. No schnapps, no discount, no apology, nothing.

We were celebrating with 18 people's birthday in the restaurant. We had opted for a 3-course menu, with either 2 different main courses. We were thoroughly enthusiastic. I had chosen the pork loin. The meat was fried to the point, very tender and delicious. The service was courteous and very friendly. We sat in the next room, a fresh coat of paint could not hurt here. We had a nice evening with delicious food. We will be back.
